Outside the Camp
So let us go to Yeshua/Jesus outside the camp, bearing the abuse/humiliation He bore.
The Glory of God!
God gives His grace to the humble! The grace and glory of God dwells outside the camp, in Yeshua/Jesus - the Son of God - the radiance of God’s glory. “Those who look to Him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame” - Psalm 34:5.
Where the cover, or veil, of shame is taken away by the blood of the Lord Jesus, there is freedom.“Whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit is Lord, there is freedom. And we all, who with unveiled faces reflect the Lord’s glory, are being changed into His likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit” - 2 Corinthians 3:16-18.
The glory and freedom of God, in His Son, is “by My Spirit” - Zechariah 4:6. The foundation of faith and the life of faith is by the grace, power and moving of the Holy Spirit. “The Spirit-Wind blows as it chooses. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit” - John 3:8. Those Spirit-born wisely grow and mature in their dependance upon, sensitivity to, and moving with the Holy Spirit.
As Yeshua/Jesus did,“Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit” - Galatians 5:25. Those outside the camp, like Stephen, “a man full of faith and of the Holy Spirit” - Acts 6:5, humbly and unashamedly, are “bearing the abuse/humiliation Yeshua/Jesus bore” - Hebrews 13:13.
The loss of our acceptance by another, or others, because we love, trust and follow Yeshua/Jesus above all, “is no cause for shame, because I know whom I have believed” — 2 Timothy 1:12.
